SHRM launches Better Workplaces Challenge Cup 2022

New Delhi : SHRMLabs, SHRM’s workplace innovation lab and venture capital arm, is presenting the second edition of the Better Workplaces Challenge Cup. Three rounds of the competition will uncover the most promising ideas that will reinvent work, workers, and workplaces. Companies from across the globe, including India, will participate in the competition.

The first round of the challenge cup has already begun virtually in February 2022 and will conclude in April 2022. As part of round one, participants around the world will submit their unique workplace innovation ideas. Participants from India can submit their entries on 21st April 2022. The deadline for sharing applications for India is 28th March 2022. The entries will be reviewed and 20 participants will be selected for the semi-finals to be held virtually in May 2022. The competitors will be evaluated based on their business viability and ability to create better workplace environments.

The final round of the competition will be held at the SHRM Annual Conference and Expo in New Orleans June 12-15, 2022. Selected participants will share their innovation with leading HR and business professionals, investors, fellow innovators, and media. During the conference, the Challengers Cup winner will be announced. To continue expanding your innovations, the winner will receive a cash prize of $50,000.

Participants at each level of the competition will be guided and mentored by a panel of judges comprised of HR practitioners and business executives. In India, the jury includes Rajat Tandon, President, Indian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (IVCA); Aditya Malik, CEO, and MD, Talentedge and Pankaj Bansal, Founder and Group CEO, Peoplestrong.
