Siberian Federal University: Delegation of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute at SibFU

On 24-25 February, a delegation from the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute visited Siberian Federal University.

During the visit, the delegation met with the rector of SibFU to discuss ways of possible cooperation between the two educational organizations. The leaders of the Institute expressed interest in organizing joint bachelor’s programs, as well as academic exchange of students and lecturers in the field of information technology, as the Institute plans to launch a program related to unmanned aerial vehicles.

“I want to thank SibFU for the warm welcome and hope that our further cooperation will be fruitful, and aimed at the benefit and realization of our common interests,” said Ulan Kurmanov, director of Kyrgyz Aviation Institute. “We have discussed very important issues related to joint research activities, digitalization of educational and academic mobility.”

The visit included separate meetings with directors of the Polytechnic School, School of Space and Information Technology, and the Physics and Mathematics School of SibFU.
