Siberian Federal University: SibFU professor becomes the winner of the lecturer competition

Professor of the Department of Photonics and Laser Technologies of the School of Engineering Physics and Radioelectronics, SibFU, Evgenia Slyusareva became the winner of the lecturer competition. The competition was traditionally held within the framework of the 18th Youth Conference on Luminescence and Laser Physics on 5-10 July 2021 in Irkutsk.

The Youth Conference on Luminescence and Laser Physics is the largest on this topic in Russia. The winner was determined by a secret ballot of young scientists.

In addition, the SibFU team presented their scientific works in the Laser Physics and its Applications and Optics of Artificial Quantum Systems sections and were awarded diplomas. Anastasia Rogova, a student of the School of Non-Ferrous Metals and Materials Science, took 3rd place in the section for students; Nikolai Davletshin took 3rd place among graduate students; and Pavel Pankin, associate professor of the Department of Electric Power Engineering, took 3rd place among young scientists, engineers and lecturers.

The conference was organized by the Scientific Council for Optics and Laser Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academic institutes of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Irkutsk State University. The format of the conference involved lectures by leading scientists and research presentations by young scientists, in total, about 30 lectures and about 70 presentations this year. Among the conference participants were representatives of more than 30 scientific and educational organizations from Russia and from abroad.
