Siberian Federal University: SibFU Took Part in Exhibitions in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan

On February 19-20, 2022, Siberian Federal University took part in the International Education exhibitions in Nur-Sultan and Almaty (Kazakhstan), and on February 22 — in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan).

The University representatives told about its main education branches, studying conditions, and also discussed the details of the 2022 admission campaign. More than 1000 people participated in each city. There were high school students, parents, teachers, and students of local Universities.

According to the University delegation, SibFU platform was highly demanded. Applicants asked questions about dormitories, laboratories, the number of budget places, last year’s points required to enter the University, the climate etc.

“Some exhibition participants have already heard about SibFU. One family came specially to Almaty from the neighboring region to personally get to know the University representatives and learn everything about entering the Institute of Gastronomy. Their daughter has been dreaming to become a professional chef for two years. She followed the Institute of Gastronomy account in social network a long ago to read their news,” Anna Mezit, head of the International Cooperation Department, shared her impressions. “Such education branches as Biology, Information Systems and Technologies, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, and Design were the most popular. It was nice that, along with future Bachelors, there were people who planned to apply for the Master’s and Postgraduate Degrees at SibFU.”.
