Siberian Federal University Student Bags Honours At International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament

The Cup of Ivan Yarygin, dedicated to the memory of the two-time Olympic champion, ended in Krasnoyarsk on 29 January 2023.

The Tournament brought together more than 400 athletes from 12 countries — Russia, Greece, Turkey, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Iran, Mongolia.

Krasnoyarsk athlete, student of the School of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism of Siberian Federal University, Khanum Velieva won a gold medal in the weight category up to 68 kg. Khanum becomes the champion of Yaryginsky tournament for the second year in a row.
