Siberian Federal University: THE Subject- SibFU maintained its positions in two subject rankings at once

As the British Times Higher Education (THE) states, Siberian Federal University strengthened its position in two THE Subject Rankings — Engineering and Life Sciences.

SibFU has been ranked in three THE Subject Rankings since last year. In 2022, according to the positions published, it takes the following places:

801-1000 group in Engineering and Technology and Physical Sciences, among 1306 and 1307 world universities participated.
501-600 group in Life Sciences, among 1017 world universities participated.
It’s worth noting that compared to last year, the number of participating universities in all subjects has increased.
Universities are evaluated in five categories: learning environment, research, citation, international cooperation, income from production activities, and innovations.

In Engineering and Life Sciences, the university succeeded to improve its performance in 4 out of 5 positions. The requirement for participation in the Physical Sciences and Engineering Sciences and Technologies rankings is having a certain number of publications in the journals included in the Scopus database.
