Six AMU students of Industrial Chemistry get placement

ALIGARH  : Six students of M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry and M.Voc. Polymer and Coating Technology from the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, have been selected by STAHL Group, a reputed multinational company based in The Netherlands, with its office in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, and dealing in specialty coatings and treatments for flexible substrates.

Dr Shahab Ali Asghar Nami, Chairperson, Department of Industrial Chemistry and Dr. Mohammad Zain Khan, Training and Placement Officer, informed that the visited the selection of these students positions in the Quality Control and Production departments of the company has been made through a campus placement drive conducted by the department.

Dr Zain Khan said that about 40 students participated in the written test conducted by the visiting company and six were selected after an interview conducted by the executives of the STAHL Group.

The selected students are: Zayeem Ahmad, Saurav Singh Hindol, Mohd. Farooq, Aasiya Ali (M.Voc. Polymer & Coating Technology), and Ayaz Iqbal and Mohd Sufyan (M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry), he added.
