SKKU: FinTech Research & Education Center for Global Leaders in Financial Innovation holds “2021 Global AI Finance Research Conference”
FinTech Research & Education Center for Global Leaders in Financial Innovation (Director: Prof. Kyo Jik Song) will hold the “2021 Global AI Finance Research Conference” at Sonocam Hotel in Yeosu from December 13th to 14th in collaboration with the Korean Finance Association. As the COVID-19 continues, the event will be held online and offline at the same time.
The conference, which has been held since last year, has become the top-notch international conference in the fintech sector. This year, professors from prestigious universities such as Stanford, Columbia and Tsinghua University will be joining. Many papers were submitted around the world and about 50% of papers were eliminated from the presentation this year. At the conference, 34 latest papers in fintech field will be presented in 10 sessions, including 6 papers written by students majoring in fintech convergence at Sungkyunkwan University.
The keynote speech will be given by Professor Campbell Harvey, Duke University professor and a former chief editor of Journal of Finance). Professor Harvey, the well-known researcher in the field of Finance, will deliver a speech on the future of financial market under the theme of “DeFi: Opportunities and Risks” and his keynote speech will be posted on SKKU’s website.
