SKPA Udhampur hosts 5 – Day course on cyber crime
UDHAMPUR : A five day course on, “Cyber Crime” commenced today here at Sher- i- Kashmir Police Academy for a group of eleven officers of J the rank of Sub Inspector to Inspector.
The course was formally inaugurated by Sunmati Gupta, Assistant Director (Q) Sher- i- Kashmir Police Academy.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta highlighted the threats of cyber crime- its magnitude and potential to cause losses.
“Rapidly growing cyber crime is causing immeasurable loss to the state exchequer. There is a need to prepare the police officers for handling investigation of cyber crime cases, legal provisions and other issues related to cyber crime” the AD said.
Interacting with the participants, the AD informed them that renowned experts from the Academia have been arranged for effective deliberations on the different topics related to cyber crime.
The inaugural session was attended by Ramesh Chander DySP(S) Pvt. Secy. to Director and Inspector Chander Mohan.
The course is being coordinated by Inspector Rohit Gupta and Inspector Dheeraj Thakur.
