Slogan writing competition held in J N Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University

Aligarh: The Community Psychiatry Unit, Department of Psychiatry, J N Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University organized a slogan writing competition on prevention of incidence of suicide due to growing depression in society. Dr Sabahuddin Anwar, Dr Saleem Mohammad Khan and Mr Saud Anwar’s slogans, in English, Hindi and Urdu, respectively, were selected as best.

Prof Suhail A Azmi, officiating Chairman, Department of Psychiatry said that the selected slogans have been sent to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Chairman, Railway Board to publish and popularize these slogans on the reverse side of the railway tickets for common people awareness against suicide. He said that the Railway Board has earlier published such messages sent by the department aimed at spreading awareness against depression.
