Smiling Tree planted 200 saplings at District Institute of Education and Training

New Delhi:  Smiling Tree carrying forward with its green initiative organized a Plantation Drive at District Institute of Education and Training, Keshav Puram, Delhi, to honour the Indian medal winners in the Tokyo Olympics.

They planted 200 saplings on the campus, in honour of Gold medal winner Neeraj Chopra and Bronze medal winner Bajrang Punia. They planted 200 saplings at Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir School in Hari Nagar and 300 in Ramjas College earlier.

Smiling Tree, a green initiative founded by Dr Mukesh Kwatra had pledged to plant 100 saplings for every medal won by India at the Tokyo Olympics, so they planted 700 over the last few days. They have thus far planted over two lakh trees and inspire people to adopt trees.
