Social Forestry Ramban launches plantation drive under “Har Gaon Haryali“

RAMBAN : Social Forestry Division Ramban today launched Plantation drives at Panchayat Rajgarh, under Har Goan Haryali programme to improve green cover in the district.

DDC Councilor Rajgarh Mohammad Shafi Zargar and other PRIs, Locals besides children participated in the drive along with DFO Social Forestry, Mahesh Thakur and Officials of department.

The DFO sought the cooperation of the locals and PRIs in protection and conservation of the forest property.

The speakers also sensitized locals and children about the importance of plantation. They urged people to participate in the ongoing Flagship program “Har Gaon Hariyali” by planting more and more plants in their areas.
