Sourabh Bhagat reviews progress on up-coming developmental projects in Kishtwar
Kishtwar: Commissioner /Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, Sourabh Bhagat today reviewed the progress on upcoming developmental works in Kishtwar District, here at a meeting of the officers of district administration.
During the meeting, he reviewed the physical and financial status of various Developmental projects under execution in Kishtwar including Construction of indoor stadium, SC Hostel at GDC Kishtwar, Polytechnic College Building and Additional IPD Block at DH Kishtwar.
He directed the Executing agencies to expedite the progress of work so that all timelines are met.
Proper monitoring and removing bottlenecks on immediate basis shall be the priority, he further underscored.
He also reviewed the progress achieved by different departments in redressing the grievances raised by public during the recently concluded Back to Village programme-3.
Stressing on providing proactive and good governance to people at their doorsteps, he asked all the Officers working at Cutting edge level to frequently tour in the field.
He also participated in the Block Divas which was held at Dak Banglow Kishtwar and distributed labour Cards, Invoices under various schemes of J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board and Certificates among the beneficiaries.
Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Mohd Hanief Malik, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar Pawan Parihar, SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Parihar, Assistant Labour Commissioner Kishtwar Anoop Kumar, DSWO Kishtwar, Tariq Ahmed Qazi, DYSSO Kishtwar Kharati Lal Sharma, ARTO Kishtwar, CDPOs among other were present on the occasion.
Earlier enroute at Hasti, a deputation of Kunatwara area led by Sarpanch Shandari Farooq Ahmed khan presented a charter of demands to Commissioner Secretary and sought his intervention in construction of road to backward Kunatwara area having a population of over 12000 souls.
Listening to the grievances, Commissioner Secretary assured that the matter shall be taken up with the concerned authorities for its time bound redress.
