SP College Sgr organises International Conference on ‘Electronic & Computational Multidisciplinary Advances’

SRINAGAR : An International Conference on Electronic and Computational Multidisciplinary Advances was organized by the Research Hub for Electronics, IT and Computer Sciences, Sri Pratap College, Srinagar.

The conference, co-sponsored by the JK Science Technology and Innovation Council and supported by IETE, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, Electron Devices Society and IEEE Advancing Technology for Humanity, aimed to highlight and elaborate the complex and subtle relationship between technology, knowledge and society.

Vice Chancellor of the Cluster University Prof (Dr) Qayyuum Hussain was the chief guest on the occasion. He appreciated the entire faculty and the sponsors for organizing an event of such repute and enormous significance.

Dr Shah Jahan Wani, Convenor of the Conference and also the Coordinator Research Hub for Electronics, IT and Computer Sciences introduced the objective of the conference. He presented a conceptual review of research studies and programmes related to interdisciplinary science learning.

He said that the conference was a step to boost innovative skills of the youth working actively in the field of progressive research and informed the audience that the purpose of the present conference was to impart skills of electronic manufacturing with creative product design.

Earlier, Prof (Dr) Khurshid Ahmad Khan, principal of the college formally welcomed the dignitaries and the guests. He also felicitated the chief guest of the event, Vice Chancellor of the Cluster University.

Prof Ajit Khosla, a distinguished professor at the Yamagata University in Japan and Xidian University, Shaanxi Province China delivered an online lecture and Prof Rakesh K. Vaid also addressed the audience during the inaugural.

The Keynote Speaker for the event was Prof Abdul Quaiyum Ansari who enlightened the audience with an excellent lecture titled “Neutrosofic Logic: A Paradigm Shift in Computational Intelligence.” His keynote address elucidated the possibility of extending the capabilities of fuzzy representation and reasoning system by introducing neutrosophic representation of the data and neutrosophic reasoning system.

Faculty members and students, especially the IG/PG students of various science departments of the college attended the inaugural session of the conference.
