SPbPU Achieves Recognition in the International ‘Three Missions of the University’ Ranking
On August 30, the results of the seventh edition of the Moscow International University Ranking «Three Missions of the University» were published. SPbPU maintained its high positions: like last year, the university ranked 15-17th among Russian universities and entered the interval group 351-400 in the world list.
Every year the number of universities included in the world ranking increases — this year 2000 universities from 112 countries were included. Despite the increased competition, Polytechnic University was ranked in the top 20 among 154 Russian universities.
Polytechnic University is a large university with more than six thousand employees and over thirty thousand students of all forms of education. Of course, we are highly visible on the landscape of higher education and science, and, importantly, we are open, ready to talk about ourselves, share expertise, provide unique knowledge, including free of charge. Thanks to this, we have been included in the world top-200 according to the criterion ‘University and Society’
, says Rector of SPbPU Andrei Rudskoi, Academician of the RAS.
To compile the Moscow International Ranking, only objective criteria are used, which are based on official data, including public reports of universities, as well as on data from reputable international information providers.
