British consulting company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has published a ranking of the best universities in the world. The total list of the international QS World University Rankings 2025 includes 1503 universities from 105 countries. Polytechnic University is ranked 12th among Russian universities and 559th in the world list.
The ranking evaluates universities according to several indicators — academic reputation of the university, university reputation among employers, faculty to student ratio, number of citations, share of foreign students and foreign faculty, international research network, sustainable development of the university.
Our goal is to make Polytechnic University a center of attraction for talented students, the best scientists and engineers from all over the world who create new knowledge and technologies. Progress in the rankings is an indicator of positive changes that are taking place in the university. We realize that we are moving in the right direction, but we will not rest on our laurels
