SPbPU Showcases Innovations at the International Forum ‘Partnership Days’ in Samarkand

The delegation of Polytechnic University visited the forum «Partnership Days». It was held on the day of celebration of the foundation (September 21, 1420) of Samarkand State University.

Rector of SPbPU, Andrei Rudskoi addressed his colleagues from SamSU in his video congratulations: Samarkand State University acts as a flagship of Uzbekistan’s education system, one of the advanced scientific clusters, providing its unique potential and atmosphere for educating the new generation in the spirit of careful attitude to national traditions, but with reliance on advanced knowledge and the latest technologies. Our universities act as good partners and good friends. Professors, staff and students of SPbPU and SamSU are in close cooperation and successfully carry out joint activities in many areas.

SamSU is one of the key partners of our university, with which research and development activities are realized with access to joint high-quartile publications in international co-authorship, exchange of graduate students and interns, holding summer schools. In 2023, a joint scientific and educational technological center was opened, and SPbPU and SamSU signed a partnership agreement and a roadmap for 2023-2025.

Samarkand hosted festive events, various exhibitions and intellectual games. A parade of faculties was held, where students presented their achievements in science and education.

The Samarkand Youth Center hosted a solemn ceremony dedicated to the birthday of the University. Head of the International Education Department Evgeniya Satalkina handed over a congratulatory note from the Rector of SPbPU, Academician of the RAS Andrei Rudskoi.

Samarkand State University trains highly qualified specialists. Professors are actively involved in the educational process, sharing their professional achievements and current trends in science with students. Together with SamSU we will realize new joint projects, develop and strengthen our cooperation for the benefit of our universities,- said Evgeniya Satalkina.
