SPbPU’s Advanced Engineering School Wins Digital Leaders Award

The advanced engineering school of SPbPU Digital Engineering won the Digital Leaders Award — 2024 in the nomination «Import Substitution: Product of the Year» of the priority area «technological sovereignty». The best product was recognized as the Digital Platform for the development and application of digital twins CML-Bench^®. Advanced Engineering School of Polytechnic was represented by Alexey Borovkov, Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation of SPbPU.

This year’s winners include state corporations, banks, insurance companies, and manufacturers of business products. In total, the expert council of the award selected more than 90 laureates, who were awarded in different nominations.

The CML-Bench^® digital platform is a unique Russian development focused on ensuring the design and production in the shortest possible time of globally competitive high-tech products in various industries and new markets. Application of CML-Bench^® allows to automate the process of work with engineering calculations, significantly reduces labor costs for the administration of engineering activities and significantly increases the productivity of joint work of engineers, which, in turn, allows to increase the efficiency of calculation support of the development process, conduct multi-variant optimization of products and ensure their competitiveness.
