We are proud of your successes and we expect that this victory will encourage you to conquer new professional and creative heights, Vladimir Knyaginin emphasized.

Anastasia Ragozina
Anastasia Ragozina, a second-year master’s student of the Institute of Civil Engineering, won in the category «The best in the organization of voluntary movement activities». She is the head of the student environmental association ReGreen, founder of the city interuniversity association of eco-clubs «Convergence», the regional coordinator of the All-Russian public association of volunteers, environmentalists «Do». Through her efforts, the city’s events EcoGTO, Ecoactiviti, EcoQuiz, and Factory are held. Anastasia popularizes environmental volunteerism: she gives lectures, participates in TV and audio projects, and has repeatedly won grant competitions from Rosmolodezh and others.

I decided to take part in the contest spontaneously, although I had heard about it before, Anastasia said. When I was preparing my portfolio, I once again saw how much our team managed to do for the development of eco-volunteering in Polytechnic and in the city. I associate my future with greening activities at our university. I want to pay more attention to my scientific and technical project ‘PolyCycle Recycling Workshop’ and continue my postgraduate studies.

Sofia Glukhikh
The winner in the category «The best in the organization of student labor teams» was a 1-year graduate student of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications Sofia Glukhikh. In 2019, she joined the student construction team «Borsch», was in charge of the press center, and became the best soldier in 2020. Since 2021, she is the squad leader. She was awarded a personal letter of gratitude from her employer. Since 2022 Sofya is the Commandant of the Headquarters of Student Detachments of SPbPU, she organizes events and coordinates the activities of 24 detachments.

I consider myself a person with an active life position, I try to be a skilled and responsible leader who is able to soberly assess the situation and promptly solve any problems, Sofya shared. But I wouldn’t have much success without a team of people who are always around, who are just as active and committed. I enjoy being an activist in the student community, and the main reward for me is realizing my creative and social potential by organizing the work of an entire association. And the fact that I managed to beat out so many worthy participants in the competition motivates me to move on.

Teguh Imanullah
The winner in the category «Best in organizing interethnic and international cooperation (tolerance)» was Teguh Imanullah, a second-year master’s degree student at the Institute of Machinery, Materials and Transport. He was born in the city of Jambi in Indonesia and has been living in Russia for six years. In 2016, I decided to study at the bachelor’s degree at Belgorod State National Research University in the field of nanomaterials, and after its graduation, in 2021, I entered the master’s degree program at Polytechnic University, said Teguh Imanullah. «From the very beginning I liked to be involved in social activities, to be active in student and youth politics. In 2020-2021, I was the Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Students in Russia „Permira“, and in 2022 I was elected the Chairman of the Republic of Indonesia Compatriot Union at Polytechnic University. I was also appointed Chairman of the representative body of KNPI National Committee of Indonesian Youth in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus 2022-2025.

For me, public activity means benefiting others. Especially in the field of international cooperation, I feel that diversity is a great strength for moving forward together, and no matter how difficult the situation, dialogue or communication should always start with an open mind. This is my main motivation when working in intercultural communication. I believe that dialogue space should always exist and be open to all. That is why my Indonesian friends and I have organized events that represent dialogue between peoples — international seminars, Indonesian language classes, etc. I also participate in cultural festivals, international youth forums, and a few days ago I was invited to speak at the BRICS+ International Municipal Forum in St. Petersburg to present international youth cooperation between Indonesia and Russia, Indonesia and the world».
