Speaker Rana KP Singh Distributes Grants Of Rs. 90 Lakh To Women And Youth Clubs
Nangal: Punjab Legislative Assembly Speaker Rana KP Singh issued checks of grants of Rs. 90 lakh from his discretionary funds today.
Mr. Manish Tewari, Member Parliament of Anandpur Sahib and Speaker Rana KP Singh jointly visited and provided funds to various women’s circles, institutions . This includes a check of Rs. 20 lakh for purchase of equipment and other essential items for hospitals in Rupnagar, Nangal, so that further arrangements can be made in the hospital to deal with the Covid- 19 epidemic in the present circumstances.
On this occasion Rana KP Singh said that Women Club and Youth Club have been serving the people with untiring hard work and dedication.
He alerted the general public to avoid the Covid-19 epidemic and further that everyone’s cooperation is needed to get the life back on track and create normalcy. To ensure the success of Mission Fateh in Punjab, better coordination between the administration, Corona Warrior and NGOs must be maintained. “We have no shortage of funds,” he said. Other grants will also be given to the women’s clubs and youth clubs working in the villages and cities as per their need as these organizations are grassroots.

On the occasion Mr. Manis Tewari MP said that during the Covid -19 epidemic, Speaker Rana KP Singh visited the area from time to time to create awareness among the people about the instructions and restrictions of the government. He urged the people to protect themselves from this epidemic and visited the food storage places to review the procurement arrangements for the wheat crop, to initiate development work and monitor the efforts being made by the Health Department.
He said that the good administration of the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh and the officers of this district / Corona Warriors and social service organizations had also done a great job at this time. The District Administration, Police Department, Health Department, Anganwadi and Asha Workers and most importantly the janitors worked tirelessly in the cities and villages and started conquering Covid-19.He said that now is the time to make life normal for which we are fully prepared.
On this occasion the Chairman of Punjab Large Scale Industry Mr. Pawan Dewan said that in the present situation we are making efforts to revive our industry. For this every possible help is being given to the industrial houses, factory owners, small and big business owners by constantly coordinating with them.
