Special Campaign 3.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) and Swachchata Drive in full swing in Dept. of Health and Family Welfare
The Special Campaign 3.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) and Swachhata Drive is going on in full swing in the Department of Health and Family Welfare. The objectives of the campaign are to minimize pendency, institutionalize swachhata, strengthen internal monitoring mechanism, train officers in records management, digitize physical records for improved records management and to bring all ministries/departments on one single digital platform: www.pgportal.gov.in/scdpm22.
The Department of Health and Family Welfare (DoHFW) has been conducting the Special Campaign 3.0 on Swachhata and disposal of pending matters within the Department (HQ) and all its Attached & Subordinate Offices, Autonomous Bodies and CPSE located in various parts of the country. It started with a preparatory phase from 15th of September, 2023 to identify the targets to be taken up for cleaning/disposing of during the campaign period. The main campaign started from 02nd October, 2023 and will continue up to 31st October, 2023. Special focus is being given to achieve space management and enhancement of workplace experience in offices.

Since beginning of the preparatory phase of the Special Campaign, DoHFW along with its Attached & Subordinate Offices, Autonomous Bodies and CPSE have identified more than 900 cleanliness sites across the country. During the preparatory phase of Special Campaign 3.0, the Nodal Officer of DoHFW and Secretary (HFW) reviewed the progress of the preparatory phase.
The progress of implementation phase of the Campaign is reported on the SCDPM portal of the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) by DoHFW regularly. As on 09.10.2023, as per data of achievement reported on the DARPG’s portal, DoHFW has disposed of 47 References from MPs and 1319 public grievances. 853 physical files have been reviewed and 320 files have been weeded out. Also, 115 Cleanliness Campaigns have been conducted by different offices of DoHFW and 1466 sq. ft. of space has been freed. Revenue of Rs. 55,317/- has also been earned by selling of scrap materials. The campaign is in full swing to achieve the targets set by DoHFW for the period.
The campaign is being monitored under the guidance of Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and DARPG’s portal (https://pgportal.gov.in/SCDPM ) by uploading photographs and data. Daily photographs are being uploaded by the offices concerned. The data is being uploaded daily by IWS Unit, DoHFW, Nirman Bhawan.
