Special Lok Adalat held at Udhampur

Udhampur: In compliance to the directions of Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority, a Special Lok Adalat was held today here under the Chairmanship of Mohan Lal Manhas (Pr. District & Sessions Judge Udhampur) in which different kinds of cases.

A total six benches were constituted which took up 257 cases of different nature of which 186 cases were settled with a settlement amount of Rs. 40,34,508.

The First Bench comprised Shoba Ram Gandhi(Additional District & Sessions Judge, Udhampur), & J.D Slathia (President Bar Association ) , Udhampur; second Bench consists of B.A Munshi(CJM Udhampur) and Girja Shavan (Addl. Special Mobile Magistrate) Udhampur, the thrid Comprises of Preet Simran Kour ( Sub Judge Special Mobile Magistrate,Udhampur) & Kamiya Singh Andotra( Munsiff JMIC) , 4th bench consisted of Archana Charak(Sub Judge) Chairman TLSC Ramnagar and K. D Sharma (Panel Lawyer)TLSC Ramnagar. Bench number 5 comprised Amandeep Kour(Munsiff Chenani,) Advocate Balwan Singh (panel Lawyer ) & Advocate A. S Katoch(Panel Lawyer) TLSC Chenani , Bench number 6 comprised of Priyanka Mahajan (Munsiff Majalta) and Saqib Salim (Tehsildar Majalta).
