SPIC-MACAY Organises “Anubhav 2021” From 21-27 Jun 2021

Bhubaneswar: Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY)is a voluntary youth movement that aims to makes education holistic, by promoting intangible aspects of Indian cultural heritage. We organise programmes of Indian classical music, classical dance, folk music, yoga, meditation, crafts, cinema classics inside education campuses. It is a movement with chapters in 800+ towns all over the world.
During these challenging times of Covid-19, we all have to stand together and help each other keep good mental and physical health. As part of our sustained efforts to spread positivity and hope in the minds of bright young minds and keep them constructively engaged, SPIC MACAY is organising ‘ANUBHAV 2021’ for students to experience an ashram-like atmosphere at home. ANUBHAV is a week-long programme from Mon, 21st – Sun, 27th June 2021 where you interact with Film Director Shyam Benegal, Actors Rajit Kapur, Shabana Azmi, and great Musicians Amjad Ali Khan, Shivkumar Sharma, Bombay Jayashri, Ulhas Kashalkar, Shahid Parvez.

The workshops conducted by us during the week will be handled by very senior gurus and it’s a very unique opportunity for the students to interact and learn from maestros. There will be workshops in the field of music,dance, arts and craft.

General Schedule:
Mon, 21st June
6:00 pm – Inauguration/ Orientation

Tue, 22nd – Sat, 26th June – every day.
4:00 am to 7:00 am – Naad Yoga, Hatha Yoga & Meditation by senior Gurus
9:00 am to 12:00 pm- Intensives/ workshops with gurus of classical dance/ music, crafts, folk 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Folk art sessions/ Cinema Classics/ Talks
6:15 pm to 9:45 pm – Concerts of classical music and dance by maestros

Sat, 26th June night till Sun, 27th June morning: Overnight concert
Sun, 27th June – Virtual Heritage Walk
