SPJIMR’s Class of 2025: 83% Participants Bring Valuable Industry Exposure to PGDM and PGDM (Business Management) Programmes

 

Mumbai : Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) proudly welcomes a diverse and talented group of participants into its prestigious PGDM and PGDM (Business Management) programmes, commencing with the Class of 2025. This batch reflects SPJIMR’s commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment where participants from various educational backgrounds, geographies, interests, and ambitions come together to shape the leaders of tomorrow.

 

The PGDM and PGDM (BM) programmes have attracted participants from different parts of the country, representing 23 states and 100 cities and towns. This geographical diversity enriches the learning experience by facilitating the exchange of perspectives and ideas from various regional contexts.

 

Enrolment figures for the PGDM and PGDM (BM) programmes demonstrate a commitment to diversity within the cohorts. In terms of gender representation, the PGDM program comprises 68.93% males and 31.06% females, while the PGDM (BM) program comprises 79.13% males and 20.87% females.

 

The participants bring a diverse academic background, with representation from various fields such as banking & insurance, finance & commerce, arts & humanities, management, science, and more. Together, both cohorts consist of around 64% engineers, encouraging multidimensional thinking and problem-solving.

 

A notable aspect of this batch is the participants’ rich work experience. In the PGDM programme, 83% of the participants bring valuable industry exposure, having worked in sectors such as IT consulting, financial services, manufacturing, engineering, banking & insurance, aviation, oil and gas, construction, FMCG, marketing & advertising, e-commerce, automation and robotics, Ed-tech, financial information and analytics, and healthcare services. The cohort represents over 150 companies, including well-known organisations like Credit Suisse, Deloitte Consulting, Ernst & Young, Infosys Technologies, KPMG, and Tata Consultancy Services.

 

In addition to their academic and professional accomplishments, the participants exhibit a range of extracurricular interests and achievements. From sports to arts, community service to entrepreneurship, the batch includes individuals who have excelled in various domains. Some have honed their skills in dance forms, while others have represented their schools in inter-school sports competitions. Some have even achieved recognition on platforms like YouTube and music streaming services, showcasing their creativity and talent.
