The Sri Sri University, Cuttack, has partnered with the Washington State University, USA, by signing a MoU on August 12.
Conducted virtually in the presence of the leadership teams of both the universities, the event’s main focus was to find sustainable solutions for the challenges of the world through collaborative research in the
areas of agriculture and organic farming, etc. The partnership would also open an avenue for both the institutions to organise students and faculty exchange programmes.
This would be a trailblazer for the Sri Sri University to manifest the internationalisation of education which is the mandate of the National Education Policy, 2020. The august gathering during the programme includes Prof Rajita Kulkarni, president, Sri Sri University, Prof BR Sharma, VC, Dr Paul Whitney, associate vice-president for international programmes, Washington State University, Dr Sung Ahn, Associate Dean at the Carson College of Business, among others.
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji blessed all on the occasion and mentioned that such collaborations and exchange of knowledge are the need of the virtual world today.
