SRM University- AP, Amaravati announces the admissions to M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes for 2018

SRM University- AP, Amaravati, has announced the admissions to full-time Masters and Research programme across Technology segments. SRM University provides excellent research opportunities to interested students and has global integration through a semester abroad scheme. SRM has a great placement record and also offers fellowships in M.Tech and Ph.D programs. The programs are available at the SRM institute of Science and Technology, Chennai and SRM University – AP Amaravati. The applicants can check eligibility, courses and fees as well as apply online on www.srmuniv.ac.in / www.srmap.edu.in.

For Masters program, the eligibility criterion includes clearing the SRMJEEE – PG exam that will be available online across 20 centres in India on 26th and 27th of May 2018. Last date of applications is 20th of May 2018. In addition to SRMJEEE – PG exam scores, GATE or TANCET scores are also accepted at the Chennai campus and GATE at the AP campus. The students can choose to specialize in AI&ML, Cyber Security, Data Science, Electronic Product Design & Development, Energy Systems and Robotics. In M.Tech., select fellowships are available from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 12,400 per month to eligible candidates.

For Ph.D programme, the students would be selected through SRMJEER. In addition, UGC CSIR-NET, JRF; UGC CSIR-NET, Teacher Fellowships and GATE scores are also accepted. At SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, Ph.D programs are available in Basic Sciences, Engineering & Technology and Health Sciences. High power computing facility is available at the SRM IST. At SRM University, AP-Amaravati, Ph.D programs are available in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, under Civil, CSE, ECE, EEE & ME domains. In the School of Liberal Arts and Basic Sciences, the PhD programmes are available in Biology, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Sciences, Economics, English Studies, History, Journalism, Psychology, Physics and Mathematics. Eligible candidates will be called for interviews at Chennai, Delhi-NCR & Amaravati campuses. The last date of applications is 15th April 2018. Fellowships are available for eligible candidates at the rate of Rs.16,000 / Rs. 25,000 / Rs. 35,000 per month.
