SSN Incubation Foundation appoints Chandran Krishnan as the Chief Executive Officer

Chennai: SSN Incubation Foundation announced the appointment of Mr Chandran Krishnan as the Chief Executive Officer. Located in the SSN campus on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), Chennai, SSN Incubation Foundation, acronymed SSN iFound, was launched in February 2020 as a Section 8, not-for-profit entity incorporated under the Companies. Act, 2013.

The main objective of the SSN Incubation Foundation is to promote innovation and entrepreneurship by translating technology ideas and innovation of science and engineering into products and services. SSN College of Engineering and Shiv Nadar University Chennai are the institutions partnering with the Foundation for various initiatives across disciplines.

Mr Chandran brings with him more than 40 years of experience in India and overseas across multiple domains including manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, IT-enabled Services and start-up ecosystem. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from IIT, Madras in 1981, with a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta in 1984. With strong analytical and strategic skills and a good acumen for finance and business, the former CEO of The Chennai Angels (a leading angel network that funds start-ups in India and overseas), has also had the opportunity to work closely with leading industry conglomerates like HCL Technologies, Reliance Life, Hindustan Motors, and Ashok Leyland Finance, among others.
