Engineering industry publication Design News reports that Stevens Institute of Technology ranks in the top six of U.S. engineering schools for early and mid-career salaries of engineering graduates holding bachelor’s degrees from the university.

The publication based these rankings on salary information available from PayScale, listing average early-career salaries for Stevens graduates at $80,400 and average mid-career salaries for Stevens graduates at $150,900. These salaries trail only modestly behind top-ranked school Massachusetts Institute of Technology (with $93,700 and $167,200, respectively).

According to the publication, Stevens also ranks as producing the topmost salaries of undergraduate engineers in the New York tristate area.

The high return on investment of Stevens’ Schaefer School of Engineering and Science was also reflected recently by U.S. News and World Report’s annual college rankings for 2023, which highlighted the Schaefer School’s online education programs with rankings as one of the top 10 best online graduate IT programs, one of the top 30 best online graduate engineering programs, first place as best online graduate engineering program in New Jersey and second place as best online graduate engineering program in the northeast region.
