Stock Idea competition held

ALIGARH  : The Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University organized a Stock Idea competition with fourteen teams participating in the event. The contestants submitted a research report on stocks of their choice followed by elevator presentations to pitch their chosen ideas.

Prof Jamal A Farooquie, Chairman, Department of Business Administration said that Mohammad Arham, Pratiksha and Afaque Ali (MBA) won the first prize jointly, while the second prize was shared by Syed Ahmed Uzair and Mohammad Uzair Lari (MBA-JMI). The third prize went to Falah Haumayeu Fur (B.Com.) and Afaf Akhtar (PhD). The contest was judged by Mr Jafar Rizvi (Portfolio Manager, Harding & Loevner, US) and Prof Valeed A Ansari.

The prize money was sponsored by Mr jafar Rizvi. Dr Tariq Aziz conducted the programme.
