Strengthening long-term relations of cooperation with leading universities of Uzbekistan and PetrSU goes to a new level.
From 15 to 18 February in Bukhara and the Tashkent region, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Konstantin Tarasov met with the rector of the Bukhara State Medical University Shukhrat Teshaev, the rector of the Bukhara Engineering and Technological Institute Nusratil Barakaev, the rector of the Bukhara State University Obidzhon Khamidov and the rector of the Chirchik State Pedagogical Institute … Issues of educational and scientific cooperation were discussed. Agreements have been reached with a number of universities on the implementation of double degree programs, academic mobility programs, and the holding of joint scientific seminars and conferences on Russian as a foreign language and philosophical issues in the spring of 2021. Memorandums of cooperation were signed with BSMU and ChGPI.

In addition, Konstantin Tarasov held talks with the chairman of the board of the International Women’s Public Foundation SHARQ AYOLI (“Woman of the East”) Saodat Tursunbaeva and the adviser on international issues to the Minister of Employment and Labor Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan Yekaterina Gorbunova. The focus of the talks was the issue of PetrSU’s participation in the implementation of distance programs of additional professional education for secondary school teachers and preschool teachers, as well as the recognition of documents on additional education of the Russian model in Uzbekistan.
