Strict adherence to wear mask and physical distancing must
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that in the last one week, Corona growth rate of the state has increased due to more cases of Corona surfacing from some districts, especially border districts. Earlier, the Corona growth rate in the state was 1.72, which has increased to 2.01. Wearing of masks and physical distancing must be strictly ensured in all districts. Public advisory should be issued in all border districts. Necessary restrictions should be imposed once a week in all districts.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state today through video conferencing. Health Minister Shri Narottam Mishra, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Dr. Mohammad Suleman etc. were present in the meeting.
Chief Secretary and DGP should prepare mechanism
It has come to the fore in a review of Badwani, Morena and other bordering districts, that Corona infection cases are increasing there. Infection is spreading in these districts due to the spread in other states across the border. In this connection, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed the Chief Secretary and DGP to prepare a mechanism in this regard and issue a public advisory. We have to prevent Corona infection from spreading in the state.
Fine to be imposed if sanitizer is not used
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that use of masks has been made mandatory in the state. Similarly, it is necessary to use sanitizers in shopping malls, offices etc. If not used, fine will be imposed. Physical distancing is to be followed at all places, otherwise action will be taken.
Kill Corona campaign brings good results
During the meeting, Shri Suleman informed that Kill Corona campaign is bringing good results in the state. Earlier, the testing capacity in the state was 6000 tests per day, which has reached to 12104 due to this campaign. Samples taken under the Kill Corona campaign have a positivity rate of 2.2 percent, which is a good sign.
Condition of Indore improving constantly
A review revealed that the condition of Indore district is constantly improving. In Indore, the positivity rate of Corona has steadily decreased. Earlier this rate was up to 11 percent, which has now come down to 2.12 percent. There are currently 875 active cases in Indore and 3871 patients have recovered and returned home. The death rate in Indore has reduced to less than one percent. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan congratulated the entire team.
