Student Activist Sunil Choudhary makes suggestions to CM Ashok Gehlot Regarding Rajasthan Budget 2021-22
Jaipur: Suggestions have been invited from various groups and stakeholders in order to understand and implement the aspirations of every section in the upcoming Rajasthan budget. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that the Rajasthan budget for 2021-22 will be inclusive.
In response to the same, student activist and Jai Narayan Vyas University(JNVU) Students’ Union Former President Sunil Choudhary wrote a letter to the Chief Minister outlining his recommendations and propositions for the education sector in the state of Rajasthan.
Sunil has suggested that for the purpose of youth awareness, the Indian Constitution should be introduced as a compulsory subject in every college. At the district level, he has requested the setting up of a Constitution park consisting of statues of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Maulana Azad.
At the block level, Sunil recommended the building of a Nehru park in the name of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
In his letter, Sunil Choudhary has recommended the setting up of water conservation clubs at the University level and asked for disaster management programmes as well. In addition to this, establishment of Information Technology centers with computer labs have been requested.
Another important suggestion given by Sunil was to make the subject of agriculture available in all senior secondary schools so as to connect rural children with employment opportunities along with promoting agricultural activities in the state.
Sunil Choudhary has been demanding an increase in budget for activities related to personality development of students and other sports culture programmes like Scouts and Guides, NCC and NSS. He has reiterated this demand in the letter written to the Rajasthan Chief Minister.
