Students of DPS salute Indian Republic
Ghaziabad: The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at DPS, Raj Nagar Extension School on 24th January 2020. The patriotic fervour warmed up the cold winter morning as the teachers and children of the school enthusiastically gathered to hoist the national flag.
The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag and singing of the National Anthem. The students filled the ambience with rhythm and melody with a patriotic song. Their enthralling dance performances based on themes like- “Unity in Diversity”.
The Principal, Pallavi Upadhyaya, DPS Raj Nagar Extension in her address to the gathering, expressed pride in the rich cultural past of the country. She urged every student to work with honesty and dedication to the nation. This was followed by a medley of patriotic songs sung by the vibrant school choir.
