Students receive Guidance regarding Foreign Education Opportunities
Aligarh: To make the students aware of foreign education and work opportunities in countries like Australia, UK, Canada, and provide information on tests like GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL etc, a foreign education seminar was organised at the Arts Faculty Lounge by the Training and Placement Office (General), of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), in association with IDP Education, New Delhi.
As chief guest of the programme, Prof Mohammad Rizwan Khan (Chairman, Department of English) talked about the quality education provided to the students at AMU.
Mr Hutash Narula (Branch Head, IDP Education) made a presentation in which he informed about the foreign Education opportunities, why students should study abroad, how to pursue it, and avenues to work abroad.
In the second session of the programme, attended by more than 200 students from different departments of the university, counseling and guidance were provided to the students.
Ms Bhavna Malhotra (Counselor, Australia), Ms Ruchika Bahera (Counselor, UK), Mrs Kawaljeet Kaur (AM, North America), and Mr Lalit Malhotra (AM, Business development) were the members from IDP Education who answered queries of the students.
Earlier, Mr Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (General) gave a brief description of the event to the audience and also informed about the upcoming events for the students. Dr Muzamil Mushtaq, Assistant TPO (General) welcomed the guests.
Ms Gauri Parashar conducted the programme, while vote of thanks was proposed by Ms Prerna Verma.
