Surgery Telemed schedule released

Aligarh: The revised E-OPD/ Telemedicine schedule of the Department of Surgery and its Urology section, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has been released. Doctors are now available for the E-OPD services on designated days from 9: 00 am to 12: 00 noon on the phone number, 7455041632.

Prof Mohammad Aslam and Dr Mohammad Nafees Ahamad are consulting the patients on Thursdays, Prof Syed Amjad Ali Rizvi (Chairman, Department of Surgery) with Dr Md Yusuf Afaque are attending the patients on Fridays, Prof Atia Zaka Ur Rab and Dr Wasif Mohammad Ali are available on Saturdays; Prof. Afzal Anees and Dr Saad Anwar are consulting on Mondays, Prof Mohammad Habib Raza and Dr Mohd Sadik Akhtar are attending patients telephonically on Tuesdays and Prof Syed Hasan Harris and Dr Shahbaz Habib Faridi are available on Wednesdays.

Dr Manzoor Ahmad (Tuesdays and Fridays) and Dr Surjeet Kumar Dhakare (Wednesdays and Saturdays) are available for the Urology Section E-OPD/Telemedicine services.

The revised E-OPD/ Telemedicine schedule has come into place after all JNMC departments shifted to telemedicine services due to the nation-wide surge in Covid cases, said Prof Syed Amjad Ali Rizvi, Chairman, Department of Surgery.

Meanwhile, the Fever/Flu Clinic, JNMC will remain open from 9: 00 am to 2: 00 pm on all working days barring Fridays on which the clinic will function from 8: 00 am to 12: 00 noon in the OPD Block of the JNMC Trauma Centre, said Prof Haris M Khan, Medical Superintendent.
