Swachhta Pakhwada: CUK Students Clean Railway Station
Kasaragod: In observance of Swachhta Pakhwada 2024, students from the Central University of Kerala (CUK) took part in a cleaning initiative at Kanhangad railway station. Program Coordinator Dr. A. Sadanandam, Assistant Registrar Dr. Rajeevan, and student leaders Vishnu Prasad and Saranya led the event. This activity is part of a larger set of programs organized by the university between September 1 and 15, aimed at promoting cleanliness and hygiene.
In addition to the station cleanup, the university launched a Selfie Booth and Signature Campaign on campus to raise awareness of cleanliness. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (i/c), Prof. Vincent Mathew, inaugurated the campaign, with Dean of Students’ Welfare Prof. Rajendra Pilankatta, Hindi Officer Dr. Anish Kumar, and NSS Program Coordinator Dr. S. Anbazhagi also in attendance.
