Swarrnim Start-up & Innovation University is disrupting agri, energy and health sectors through its strategic MoUs worth Rs. 250 crores towards Vibrant Gujarat

Ahmedabad : Keeping up with its commitment to the Government of Gujarat, Swarrnim Start-up & Innovation University has signed two more impactful MoUs worth Rs. 50 crs in the field of sustainable energy & technology, and Alternative medicine. These MoUs are focused to encourage research and innovations and promote Indian startups that can make Indian innovation globally acclaimed. Swarrnim university had also signed Rs. 200 Crs MoU at the Pre-Vibrant Gujarat summit to promote a technologically advanced ecosystem in agriculture.

Sharing his thoughts about this association with the government, Mr. Adi Jain, Vice- President – Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University said, “Swarrnim has always nurtured entrepreneurship and through these MoUs, the incubation centres of Swarrnim will become hubs for innovating disruptive technologies in the field of sustainable energy and alternative medicine. Our MoUs are in the sectors, where development and innovation are the need of the hour. We are also thankful to the Government of Gujarat for opening grounds to boost start-ups.”

In the near future, the source of energy (non–renewable) is going to be exhausted, simultaneously, the behemoth question for a practical decarbonisation solution is raging. As a part of the solution, Swarrnim Incubation Center will specifically focus on specific startups, who will be working on sustainable energy & technology research-based innovation to accelerate the energy transition. It is not limited to technical, policy, and business perspectives but also to develop renewable energy, energy efficiency measures, and slash CO2 in power, transport, industry, and building energy usage.

Traditional Indian medicinal system which is also known as the Alternative systems of medicines like Ayurveda, Homeopathy is a science of life with a holistic approach to health and personalized medicine. Hence, evidence-based research is highly needed for global recognition and acceptance of Ayurveda, which needs further advancements in the research methodology. In China, 95% of Government hospitals have a department of traditional medicine in the same way MoU will help to develop a similar type of Policy for India.

Swarrnim university continues its support to the government of Gujarat in its endeavors to make Gujarat a hub for innovations and entrepreneurship. Swarrnim has signed several MoUs worth Rs. 250 crores with the government of Gujarat, in sectors such as;  healthcare, sustainable energy & technology, agriculture, and trade & commerce to promote research, innovation, and startup ecosystem.
