SWD provides Motorised Tricycles to Differently Abled

Jammu: The Social Welfare Department today provided motorized tricycles to 20 differently abled persons belonging to BPL category with more than 40 per cent disability in lower limbs.
District Social Welfare Officer, Jammu, Regional Secretary, Red Cross Jammu besides officials of district and Tehsil Social Welfare offices were present on the occasion.
Later, DSWO informed that the department has provided pension to 16000 pensioners in a time bound manner besides reaching out to marginalized and downtrodden sections of the society during the COVID lockdown.
