Take Madhya Pradesh to new heights for prosperity, development and public welfare – Chief Minister Chouhan
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the roadmap for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh is ready. All departments should achieve their targets within the time-limit and take Madhya Pradesh to new heights for prosperity, development and public welfare. Each one of us should work hard and make maximum efforts for this. I am sure that a new and developed Madhya Pradesh will emerge at a fast pace.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing ministers before the Cabinet meeting. He said that this year the ministers and officials have toiled hard to achieve the high priority tasks and targets of the state government. Economic activity had come to a standstill due to Corona infection. But with the efforts of all, economic activities resumed. The state government with its tireless efforts strengthened its financial resources and accelerated the development and welfare works. Efforts were made to treat Corona patients under a strong action plan. Patients were also treated by the state government in private hospitals.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that during lockdown due to Corona infection, vehicles were provided to labourers coming from other states and moving out of the state. Food was arranged for them with the help of the people. Shoes and slippers were distributed among the labourers. Madhya Pradesh was appreciated by the entire country for the facilities made available to the labourers.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that during the Corona period, funds of schemes were transferred by the state government to the accounts of poor families and farmers. The farmers of Madhya Pradesh have wholeheartedly welcomed the new agricultural laws enacted by the Central government. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also paid tribute to immortal martyr Bhima Nayak on his martyrdom day.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that amendments are being in the Acts related to public interest and are being brought as ordinances. These amendments will benefit people in a big way in public interest.
