Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz to commence from 1st September 2019
Mumbai: India’s largest and eagerly anticipated corporate quiz, Tata Crucible
is back with its 16th edition starting from September 01, 2019 at VBT, Guwahati. To be held
across 25 cities in India, the unique knowledge initiative is all set to attract brightest minds from corporate and start-ups to test their mental mettle.
As the industry is moving towards end to end digitalization with autonomous, connected and smarter technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), the theme for the quiz this year is built around ‘Industry 4.0’ concept. Known for its exciting and novel formats, the quiz is open for participants from both Tata and non-Tata corporates. A team of two employees from an organisation can participate in the regional round in the city close to their work location.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Atul Agrawal, Senior Vice President, Corporate Brand and
Marketing, Tata Services, shared, “Over the years, Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz has proved to be a fun and exciting platform for working professionals whetting their knowledge and
encouraging confluence of ideas on the relevant topics of today. The quiz has always raised the bar year after year with intriguing themes and we expect an outstanding competition this year as well.”
Teams with deep business acumen, strategic thinking and risk taking ability with excellent
team-work are expected to last longest in this ‘crucible’ test. The quiz will be conducted by
renowned quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam, also known as ‘Pickbrain’, who has been
conducting the quiz ever since its inception.
The winning team from each regional round will qualify for the zonal rounds, and the top two zonal winning teams will compete for national title in October 2019. The winners of the
National final will receive a grand prize of Rs.500, 000/-* along with the coveted Tata Crucible Trophy, while regional winners and runners-up will receive prizes of Rs.75, 000/-* and Rs.35, 000/-* respectively. The prizes for this edition are being supported by Tata Cliq.
