Teachers should make teaching-learning system effective: PR Minister Sharma
Bhopal : Public Relations Minister Shri P.C. Sharma said at the inaugural session of Global Teachers Meet at Peoples Campus that to improve quality in education, teaching-learning system must be made effective and strong. While imparting education to the young generation they should be apprised with the heritage of Indian culture and traditional values.
Minister Shri Sharma said that information technology has paved ways to make teaching-learning more effective. Schools have adopted this on a concept of smart class. State government has also started smart class in government schools. He informed that now smart classes are being conducted in schools of excellence, model schools and other government schools.
Minister Shri Sharma told the academicians that the implementation of the findings and suggestions at the Global Teachers Meet will also be considered in government schools. Shri Sharma told the private educational institutions to come forward to educate promising children of economically weaker sections. Citing the example of free coaching by Acharya of Karunadham Ashram to slum children and facilities for professional courses and higher studies, Shri Sharma said that this example should be followed.
