Team AMU wins prizes at the 9th Annual Conference of AOMSI
ALIGARH : A team of Resident doctors from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Z.A. Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University won the Quiz competition during the 9th Annual Conference of Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India, UP Chapter, held at the Institute of Dental Sciences, Bareilly. The AMU team consisted of third year postgraduate students of the department, Dr. Aswad Khan, Dr. Akash Ganguli and Dr. Mohammad Arman.
Dr. Akash Ganguli, a third year postgraduate student got the second prize in paper presentation category for his paper, “Effect of Whey Protein on Masticatory Muscles Post-open Reduction and Internal Fixation in Mandibular Fracture Patients: An EMG Based study”.
Prof. Veena Maheshwari, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Prof. R.K. Tiwari, Principal, Dr Z.A. Dental College and Prof. G.S. Hashmi, Chairman of the department congratulated the winners.
