New Delhi: Team from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani emerge as winners at Delhi regional finals of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2020Delhi, March 11, 2020: Shivam Prateek & Aditya Singh from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani emerged victorious at the Delhi edition of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2020.
The Delhi winners Shivam Prateek & Aditya Singh from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani and Amritsar winners Sebin John Michael & Aditya Gurjar from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Amritsar were the top two teams at the Delhi Zonal finals at the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2020. They will now compete with the top two teams of other four zones at the National finals to be held in Mumbai.
A total of 44 teams battled it out in the city level finale for the top honors, held at Vivanta, New Delhi. Shivam Prateek & Aditya Singh took home a cash prize of Rs. 75,000* and will compete in the zonal round to qualify for the national finale. Ashish Kumar Singh & Amlan Sarvar from Ramjas College, Delhi were declared runners-up, winning a cash prize of Rs. 35,000*. The theme for this year’s quiz is built around ‘Industry 4.0 concept. Noted quizmaster ‘Pickbrain’ Giri Balasubramaniam hosted the quiz in his masterful, unique and witty style.
The sixteenth edition of India’s biggest campus quiz will be held for a little over two months, traversing 40 cities, with five zonal rounds leading to the Grand National finale in Mumbai. The winners of the National Finals will receive a Grand Prize of Rs. 5, 00,000/-* along with the coveted Tata Crucible trophy.
