Technical University of Munich Senior Vice Presidents re-elected

Stability in the TUM Board of Management personnel: Prof. Gerhard Müller, Prof. Claudia Peus and Prof. Juliane Winkelmann have been re-elected to their positions as Senior Vice Presidents of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The decision was made by the TUM Board of Trustees, responsible as the central supervisory body of TUM.

Civil engineer Gerhard Müller has been TUM Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs since 2014 and as such the responsible contact partner for all students and teaching staff at TUM. Management researcher Claudia Peus has been Senior Vice President for Talent Management & Diversity at TUM since 2017. This area includes topics such as equality and continuing education. Physician and neurogeneticist Juliane Winkelmann has been responsible as Senior Vice President for International Alliances and Alumni since 2017, serving so to speak as TUM’s Foreign Minister.

Each position on the Board of Management is assigned for a term of three years. A total of twelve prominent individuals make up the TUM Board of Management. The body leads TUM and is responsible for university-policy objectives and the dynamic development of the university. Here TUM regards itself as a global marketplace of knowledge.
