Tehsil Admin Ramnagar felicitates class 10 board exam topper Mandeep

UDHAMPUR: An impressive function was today organized by Tehsil Administration Ramnagar to felicitate Mandeep Singh the class 10 Board Exam Topper.

Naib Tehsildar Anil Sharma felicitated the meritorious student whose result was recently declared by JKBOSE.

Anil Sharma extended his best wishes to Master and his parents for their achievement and said that it was a proud moment for the whole Udhampur district, In the recently announced board results, Mandeep Singh S/O Sham Singh hailing from remote village Amroh and a student of a government High School Amroh of Udhampur District shined with 98.6% marks.

He motivated the students to read newspapers and general knowledge books in addition to their syllabus books

Mandeep’s father Sham Singh- a farmer also shared his views regarding this achievement of his son. He said that by securing top position in class 10th Board exams , he has set an example of hard work and achievement. He stated that besides his studies Mandeep also helped the family in daily household works.

While sharing his experience related to study Mandeep said during the lockdown his elder brother helped him in studies. “Despite inadequate power supply and lack of other facilities in my village Anroh, I managed to study and achieve the goal,” said Mandeep. He belongs to a very poor family having no mobile phone, Internet services, laptop etc. “I studied only from books throughout the year” he said. For this achievement, he gave full credit to his parents and especially elder brother Shiv Dev Singh who supported him for his studies during the whole academic year. Several prominent figures of the area visited his residence and congratulated Mandeep for his academic excellence in Board exams.
