Jammu: District Administration Jammu today organised a meeting under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ramesh Kumar to imprat training to the Tehsildars regarding online services for the people.
At the outset, District Informatics Officer Sanjay Gupta gave a detailed powerpoint presentation and briefed the Tehsildars and other concerned officials regarding online services like Marriage Certificate, Legal heir and SC/ST certificate.
The DIO provided step wise information to the officers and asked them to closely monitor the documents uploaded by the applicants.
The ADDC directed all officers to dispose of the cases strictly as per the procedural guidelines framed by the government and their disposal should be in a time bound manner. He also asked them to verify the documents closely and can cancel the certificate if the information provided by the applicant is found incorrect.
He also said that these online services are framed to provide relief and benefits to the general public so that they do not face any kind of inconvenience in obtaining these certificates.
