TELUS International India launches TELUS International University, partnering with top Indian educational institutions
TELUS International India has launched the TELUS International University (TIU) program to help its team members and their families attend leading educational institutions in the region to achieve their education goals. Through its unique partnership model, that includes employee subsidies and discounted courses, TIU facilitates a wide array of in-person and virtual courses for both professional and personal development on topics such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, product leadership and strategy, HR analytics, and business management.
“Access to learning and development is top of mind for our team members, and we are proud to be able to support them through various educational programs, including TELUS International University,” shared Rajiv M.Dhand, Regional Vice-President for TELUS International Asia-Pacific and Africa. “Since launching the program, we’ve also received a lot of interest, not just from our team members, but from their loved ones as well. Across India, TIU currently partners with the Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning Institute, AnalytixLabs, UPES, Edvancer, Edology, the Shankar Mahadevan Academy, Inlingua New Delhi and the Institute of Product Leadership among many others. Team members and their family members can access nearly 100 courses, and receive professional or vocational certificates from the partner educational institutes upon completion.
Flexible learning for team members
Recognizing that it can be challenging to balance work schedules and attending classes, TIU has virtual and on-site learning options for students.
To further supplement its team’s learning, TELUS International India also recently launched the TIU digital library available to accommodate both on-site, hybrid and remote workstyles. The TIU library has more than 500 books in four languages, and it continues to grow.
