Ten days lockdown to be imposed in Bhopal district
Bhopal : The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that 10 days complete lockdown being imposed from 8.00 p.m. of July 24 in Bhopal district will be enforced in all revenue boundaries of the district. The supply of most essential commodities like medicines, vegetables, fruits, milk etc. will be ensured. For the convenience of poor, fair price shops will remain open. All private offices and commercial establishments will remain shut. All industries will run and identity cards issued by factory owners to their employees for movement in industrial areas will be accepted. E-pass will be issued to people for movement inside the boundaries of Bhopal district and exit for the most essential work.
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation of Corona and arrangements in the state through video conferencing at Mantralaya today. The Minister for Home Dr. Narottam Mishra, Minister for Medical Education, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation Shri Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Home Shri S.N. Mishra, Principal Secretary Shri Faiz Ahmed Qidwai and other were present at the meeting. Additional Chief Secretary Shri Mohammad Suleman attended the video conferencing from Indore.
Trace contacts and contain infection
During the review of Anuppur district, the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed that all efforts should be made to increase the contact tracing to control the infection. Balaghat district has been asked to maintain special vigilance in rural areas. Instructions were given for removal of Chief Medical and Health Officer of Chhatarpur district and for making better arrangement in the district.
Pay special attention to these districts
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed to pay special attention to district with high infection like Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Morena and Khargone. There is now an increase in number of patients in Ujjain; hence attention should also be paid to the district.
Remarkable fall in fatality rate, conduct case study of Indore
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that effective control on corona infection has been gained in Indore and remarkable decline in fatality rate has been recorded there. One hundred 38 deaths in April, 72 in May, 64 in June and 18 in July have been caused due to corona in Indore. Shri Chouhan said to conduct case study of Indore and its best practices should be implemented in other districts.
Install CCTV Cameras in every Covid Ward
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that to monitor whether best protocol of treatment is being followed in Covid hospitals or not, CCTV cameras should be installed in Covid hospitals without cameras.
Medical College Shahdol to be kept ready
In the review of Shahdol district, the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed that the medical college should be kept ready, to ensure better treatment to covid patients of the vicinity. Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra has instructed that the recruitment of class 3 and 4 employees in medical colleges of the state should be done soon.
