TeXLence 2021: Annual Techno-Product Management Fest Of XLRI

Bhubaneswar: Xavier School of Management (XLRI) will host its sophomore edition of the 2-day Techno-Product Management festival, TeXLence starting tomorrow, December 4. The event in association with SBI is being organised by SOCRATES and ProdUX and will focus on the theme “DRIFT: Developing the Road to Immersive and Futuristic Technology”. The event will be held in a hybrid mode with a plethora of online and offline events.

The event, aims at celebrating the burgeoning Technical and Product Management India has to offer by providing an engaging and interactive platform to the key stakeholders. TeXLence 2021 will feature 10+ events ranging from multiple case competitions, product teardowns, product management quizzes and fun events. CXOs from the top firms including Managing Director at State Bank of India (Ashwini Tewari), Dy. CEO – Centre of Excellence, Vedanta (Vineet Jaiswal), Director of Engineering at Intel Corporation (Balpreet Singh), CEO at IndianOil – Adani Gas Pvt. Ltd. (Rajiv Sikka) and many others will be a part of the CXO Conclave. The event will also host Product Management workshops from industry veterans working at Microsoft, Media.net. & PhonePe.

The campus, after a span of 2 years of Covid restrictions, will finally open itself for its first offline event, Standup Comedy by Sumit Sourav at Tata Auditorium.

Shubham Dhoble, the overall Head of the Tech Committee at XLRI (SOCRATES), stated that the challenge is to host a physical event while keeping all COVID-19 rules in mind. “Last year, it was entirely online.” This year, though, we are attempting a hybrid version; for all external events, we will need to host a virtual platform.”

The CXO summit will see top business leaders giving their take on how immersive technology is shaping and transforming their companies. Other events include PM Workshop, Prodigi 2.0 (PM School Case Competition), Imperium, Bamboozled, Lez Quizzerables, Antagon etc.

Commenting on the ongoing pandemic, Shubham assured that all Covid guidelines will be followed and masks will be distributed for free to ensure safety.
