Thailand Ambassador visits AMU

Aligarh : A high level delegation from Thailand under the leadership of the Ambassador of Thailand to India, Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, visited the Aligarh Muslim University on Sunday and met the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof Mohammad Gulrez at his residence.

Ms Pattarat and Prof Gulrez discussed the scope to promote future cooperation between AMU and Thailand Universities in the field of education and research through exchange programmes.

The Ambassador also visited Maulana Azad Library and paid a rich tribute to the founder Sir Syed Ahmad Khan at his mausoleum at University mosque. Before leaving for Delhi, she attended a special programme organised by Thailand students’ association of AMU.

Incharge and Advisor to foreign students, Prof Syed Ali Nawaz Zaidi and AMU Public Relation Officer, Omar Peerzada also attended the interactive meeting.
